The use of rose quartz goes as far back as 7000 B.C. in Mesopotamia (currently Iraq). Roman, Egyptian, and Greek women used it as a face mask to prevent wrinkles and clear their complexions.
Even today, people try to derive its benefits when used on the skin through the use of rose quartz rollers. It's still believed to remove wrinkles and improve skin clarity.
Rose quartz is also used as a decoration for homes and offices, for meditation, and in jewelelry, mainly because of its healing properties and its ability to attract love.
